There is a great surfing community in the Croyde area, as this is one of the best beach breaks in the south west of England. The access from our house to the beach path is exclusive and is only several feet from the entrance of the house, accessed directly from the end of the 2 acre private garden.
For walkers, the South West Coastal Path runs right past the edge of the property, around Downend Point to Saunton Sands, giving breathtaking views of the Barnstaple and Bideford Bay. The path continues along to Braunton Burrows and Braunton village, some of the most spectacular scenery in the UK. Alternatively, venturing North on the South West Coast Path will lead you to the dramatic scenery of Baggy Point, Putsborough Beach and Woolacombe Sands.
